SJNRA Senior, Beth Ratke, is organizing a Neumann Alumni Basketball game, to be held on Sunday, December 20 at 3 pm at the High School gym.  All are invited to attend! We have a few SJNRA maroon outerwear coats left from last year.  The coat has “SJN” embroidered in gold in the upper left chest, and features a black zip-out fleece jacket. These coats are weatherproof and feature side front pockets and a zip-out hood. Available in very limited adult sizes of M-XXL. $40 each. SJNRA Holiday Service Project:
November has begun, and the weather has gotten colder.  For many in our community, the winter months are an added stress, as families must often make concessions on things like food and hygiene items in order to pay for heat and other expenses.  One item that is constantly in need is personal hygiene kits. These kits contain many items that most of us take for granted, but are necessary for those in need.  At SJNRA, we are asking every student to donate items for a personal hygiene kit for the needy.  The kits will be delivered to the Shepherd of the Streets on November 24.

 

High school students are being asked to donate an adult kit, elementary students are being asked to donate a child kit, and Bastress and Sheridan Street students are being asked to donate an infant kit.

 

Men's/Women's Kit:
1 toothbrush
1 tube toothpaste
1 deodorant
1 comb
1 shampoo
1 large bar soap
3 band-aids
3 disposable razors
1 package of tissues
1 wash cloth
1 bath towel
1 hand lotion

 

Add to Men's Kit: 1 can shaving cream/Add to Women's kit: 1 package sanitary napkins

 

Child's Kit:
1 child's toothbrush
1 tube toothpaste
1 comb
1 children's shampoo
1 box assorted band-aids
1 pack tissues
1 wash cloth
1 bath towel
1 special item, to make a child's day.
