March Madness Tickets Due:
March Madness tickets are due ASAP to any SJNRA office. The drawing will be held on Friday, March 26 at the High School. Thanks to all of our SJNRA families for their generous support of this important fundraiser.
Gertrude Hawk orders:
Gertrude Hawk Easter candy orders have been sent home. Please check your orders immediately for any discrepancies. Call Kathy Bahr at 323-9953, ext. 205 to report any problems with your order. Thanks to all who purchased Gertrude Hawk candy!
SJNRA LEO/Williamsport Lions Club Pancake Breakfast:
The LEOs and Lions are sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 21 from 7:30 am - 1:00 pm at our Franklin Street Campus cafeteria. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children. Tickets are available from any SJNRA LEO or Williamsport Lion or at the door. Please come out and support our LEOs!
Support Catholic Education:
ACE-PA (Advocates for Catholic Education in Pennsylvania) is one of the most important tools we have to influence public policy. With your participation, we can truly change Catholic education in Pennsylvania. We invite the St. John Neumann family to join the effort. Check out our website (
www.sjnra.org) for a link to the ACE-PA website. Sign up to receive email updates and check out the site for the latest news in Catholic education. The 2010-11 state budget is being considered, and we need to let our elected officials know that the EITC program (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) CANNOT be decreased any further. This fund provides tuition assistance to families that wish to send their children to our Academy. Please log on to our website and click on the ACE-PA logo on the left hand side and read about how you can help influence our elected officials to direct state tax dollars (via the EITC program) to our schools. Together we can work to ensure that non-public school students are treated fairly and equitably in the state budget. Thank you for your consideration.
