Student Volunteers Needed:
SJNRA High School students are needed to volunteer at the SJNRA Summer Academy, held weekdays at our Sheridan Street Campus, today through August 5. The hours are 8:00 am until 3:00 pm, and the student may work half or full days. These hours can be used towards the mandatory service hours required of SJNRA high school students. SJNRA Girls’ Varsity Soccer Meeting:
Coach Matt Reigle has scheduled a meeting with all girls’ varsity soccer team players tomorrow, Tuesday, 12 July 2011 at 5:30 pm in the H.S. Library. Parents are also requested to attend this meeting.

The Mid-Penn Athletic Conference has just announced the selection of the 2011 League All-Star Baseball and Softball teams. The following students from St. John Neumann were selected as 1st Team All-Stars: Baseball- Brock Danneker, Doug Hasko and Bobby Falk. Softball- Sarabeth Ciccarelli, Alana Androvette and Celina Seyler. Congratulations to our outstanding players that were recognized by the league coaches.
“Gently Worn” SJNRA Uniform/Gym Wear Sale:
Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, July 26 from 6-8 pm, we will have a “Gently Worn” SJNRA uniform & gym wear sale at our High School Campus. Stop by and pick up some good bargains on gently worn SJNRA uniforms! If you have any outgrown uniforms that you would like to donate for our sale, please drop them off to the High School Office, Mondays-Thursdays from 9 am- 1 pm, prior to July 26.
We will also have SJNRA gym wear & spirit wear available for purchase that evening.
Little League Volunteers Needed:
The Little League World Series is in need of student volunteers, ages 16 or older, with working papers, to assist in the gift shop and with gift shop duties such as hanging, bagging, and assisting customers. Hours worked at the World Series will count towards a student’s mandatory service hour commitment for the 2011-12 school year. The Series runs from August 18th – 28th.
