Basket Bonanza:
Thanks to all the families that donated a basket. Please send in your baskets (with your name or the basket ID tag) to any campus by Tuesday, October 11. The Basket Bonanza booklet is available
here. All Basket Idea forms that were received after Monday, 10-3-11, will be included in the Addendum, which will be available on Preview Nights and the night of the Bonanza. Tickets for the Basket Bonanza are on sale now at every SJNRA campus. Thank you for your support of this important fundraiser!
Fall Sweepstakes Raffle:
Fall Sweepstakes Raffle ticket stubs and money are due to any SJNRA campus ASAP. Thanks to the many families that have already turned in their tickets and money.
Boxtops for Education:
We will be redeeming Boxtops at the end of October. Please send in any that you have collected to any SJNRA campus before then. Thank you!
Giant A+ School Rewards:
Giant A+ School Rewards Program starts this Sunday, October 9 and runs through March 31, 2012. Please reply to this email with your Giant BonusCard number so that we can enroll you.
Terri Lynn Nut Sale:
Nut Sale orders are due to any campus by Tuesday, October 11. Orders will be delivered the week of November 14.
Fall Family Get-Together:
The SJNRA Fall Family Get-Together will be held on Sunday, October 23 from 2 pm - 4 pm at the SJNRA High School Parking Lot. Bring the whole family for a fall barbeque with great food and some games for the kids. RSVP to 323-9953, ext. 201 or development@sjnra.org with a total count of attendees by October 18.
Blood Drive:
Student Council is sponsoring its annual Blood Drive on Thursday, October 20th from 9:30 AM - 3 PM. Please contact Denise Southard at dsouthard@sjnra.org to schedule your appointment!
All-Knighter:
The All-Knighter will be held November 18 - 19 from 9 PM - 7 AM. This event is for SJNRA students in grades 7 - 12 and the cost is $10 per student. We need parent chaperones to hold this event. Please contact Denise Southard at dsouthard@sjnra.org to sign up to chaperone.
SJNRA SPORTS NEWS:
SIGN UP FOR BASKETBALL: Students interested in playing basketball for the Boys & Girls 7th & 8th Grade teams and for the Varsity Boys & Girls teams can sign up in Mr. Lupacchino's office in room 213.
SPORTS PHYSICALS FOR BASKETBALL: Sports physicals for athletes that plan on playing 7/8th Grade and Varsity Basketball will be held on Friday, 14 October at 1:30 PM in the school. If this is the first sport that the student will participate in during the school year, the student needs to complete the 4 part PIAA COMPREHENSIVE INITIAL PRE-PARTICIPATION PHYSICAL EVALUATION (CIPPE) FORM and that can be obtained on SJN website or in the Athletic Office in room 213. If the student has already had a physical and completed the CIPPE form and is currently playing in a Fall sport (soccer/golf/softball) then the parent only needs to complete a one page Section 5 (RE-CERTIFICATION BY PARENT/GUARDIAN) form and turn that into the Athletic Office.
