In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of our beloved namesake, Saint John Neumann, we are delighted to welcome the Redemptorists to our Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, November 20th. We will also have a St. John Neumann Relic and time for veneration and blessings at the Mass. The entire SJNRA family is invited to join the celebration, which begins with Mass at St. Boniface Church at 2:30 pm on Sunday, November 20, and a Thanksgiving Feast at the St. John Neumann Elementary Campus Gym immediately following the Mass and veneration. This mass counts as your Sunday obligation. A collection will be taken. Feel free to bring your church envelope and we will deliver envelopes to all parishes. All loose change will be donated to a local charity. The deadline to RSVP is today.  If you can attend, please RSVP today with the number attending to development@sjnra.org or 323-9953, ext. 201.

 

All-Knighter tickets for SJNRA students in Grades 7-12 are on sale now through November 15th in Room 208. The cost is $10 per student. We are still in need of chaperones. The 5 am - 7 am chaperone slots are all filled. We have only one parent chaperone for the remaining shifts: 11 pm - 1 am, 1 am - 3 am, 3 am - 5 am. Please contact Denise Southard at dsouthard@sjnra.org  to sign up to chaperone. Please note that no student is permitted to drive home from the All-Knighter!

 

Thanks to all the families that participated in the Terri Lynn Nut Sale. The orders will be delivered to your child next week.  We will have extra Terri Lynn products available for purchase. We will post the extras via mass email, and they will be available on a first come, first served basis.  Watch your email next week for the list.

 

A Rally for School Choice will be held at the PA State Capitol Rotunda in Harrisburg on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. This rally is sponsored by the REACH (Road to Educational Achievement through Choice) Foundation. Any parent or adult that wants to attend, please contact the High School Office at 323-9953, ext. 201. We hope to charter a bus to this Rally.
