BUSINESS LEADERSHIP ORGANIZED FOR CATHOLIC SCHOOLS (BLOCS)
of Lycoming County
Building a Brighter Future One Child at a Time
Founded in 2004 by visionary business leaders in the community, Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS), has impacted the lives of the students in Lycoming County who attend Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Scranton's Western Province. The Lycoming County BLOCS Executive Committee currently is led by Bishop Joseph F. Martino, Bishop of Scranton and Frank G. Pellegrino, Businessman and a philanthropist.
The Lycoming County BLOCS committee also consists of local business men and women who dedicate their time, energy and resources to provide funding for families who wish to provide their children with a value-based, Catholic education. BLOCS provides tuition assistance to Catholic school families, regardless of race, religion, creed, nationality or ethnic origin. Business leaders who support BLOCS are helping ensure that our region has the strongest and most competent workforce possible. We serve as an important connection between Catholic schools and corporate and foundation committees who wish to support Catholic education.
