Dear SJNRA Parents/Guardians:
Thank you for enrolling your child/ren at St. John Neumann Regional Academy for the 2011-12 school year. Included in your registration packet was a letter from me detailing your volunteer and fundraising responsibilities for the upcoming school year. To reiterate, the requirement for all families with children in grades PreK-12, is to sell or buy $500 in raffle tickets and commit to 10 volunteer hours. Specifically:
- 10 volunteer hours to the Academy: A Volunteer/Fundraising Commitment Contract is enclosed. Please fill it out and return it to any SJNRA office by September 9. You may opt to buy out of the volunteer hours at a cost of $150 per family. A donation of a basket for our Basket Bonanza will earn you 3 hours. A donation of a Mega Basket or auction prizes(s), with a value of at least $150, will fulfill all 10 volunteer hours. A Basket Bonanza Idea Form is enclosed. Volunteer help is always needed in our cafeterias at lunchtime, in our libraries, and at our monthly Bingo fundraiser. Hours can also be earned by participating in our shopping certificate/tuition voucher program (1 hour for every $500 spent in gift cards) or being a member of our NPAA (Neumann Parent Athletic Association). Information on both of these options is also enclosed with this packet.
- Fall Sweepstakes Raffle: each family is required to sell or buy $250 in tickets. We have enclosed your tickets in this mailing. Each family is obligated to buy or sell $250 worth of tickets. Tickets are $5 each. Ticket money and stubs are due to any SJNRA office by Monday, October 3. Checks, made out to “SJNRA”, or cash will be accepted.
- March Madness Raffle: each family is required to sell or buy $250 in tickets. Tickets will be sent to each family in February 2012.

All year long: Printer cartridge recycling, Boxtops for Education, SJNRA Voucher Program
First Thursday of Month: Bingo at Franklin Street Campus
Friday, October 14: Basket Bonanza at Franklin Street Campus
September/October: Fall Sweepstakes Raffle (drawing on Oct. 14)
October: Terri Lynn Nut Sale
November: Gertrude Hawk Christmas Candy Sale
February/March: March Madness Raffle (drawing in late March)
March: Gertrude Hawk Easter Candy Sale
May 19, 2012: SJNRA 6th Annual Gala Auction
We collect used printer cartridges and Boxtops for Education at every SJNRA campus. Please feel free to drop them off throughout the school year.
