Religious Formation
All of our students are educated in the Catholic faith, PreK through senior high.  At the elementary level, daily religion classes focus on the Golden Rule, and a basic knowledge of our faith. Second graders will spend their school year preparing for First Penance and First Holy Communion.  At the high school level, students delve deeper into our faith, as they learn about Church history, Theology and Morality.
As part of their Religion/Theology grade, students in Grades 6-12 must complete Service Hours annually.  With the implementation of this requirement, we believe that we are instilling into our students an appreciation of giving back to our parishes and our community.  Students typically fulfill their service hours by volunteering at our school, at their parishes, and in the commnunity. It is our hope that our students learn the value of service and will continue to serve in their adult life.
Father Bert Kozen, pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish and St. Luke's Parish, is our Chaplain. Mr. Shawn Moore is our Director of Religious Formation. Students attend mass twice a month, either at St. Boniface Church or at our High School Chapel. Priests from the six area Catholic churches preside over our masses, and our student choir provides exceptional accompaniment to our liturgy.  Students are also altar servers, gift bearers and lectors.  We offer the sacrament of Reconciliation during the season of Advent and Lent.  We pray the Stations of the Cross during Lent, and we have opportunities for Eucharistic Adoration and rosary recitation several times throughout the school year.
We welcome students of all faiths into our Academy.  We expect all students, regardless of religious denomination, to be respectful at our Masses and our religious services.
